The Opportunity

Sands Fridge Lines are currently seeking an immediate start for a qualified and experienced customer service representative within our WA Family-owned Business, working within a team environment to ensure the valued relationships between our company and customers is well nurtured and supported. Communicating requirements and needs to the business to ensure we meet and exceed the customers expectation for the business delivery. Reporting to the Customer Service Manager this is an integral role at the forefront of our business.

Rotating Roster (2 weeks AM shift, 2 x weeks Morning Shift)

Week 1 - 5:00am – 1:30pm

Week 2 – 8:30am – 5:00pm


To be successful, you will have:

    Experience within the transport and freight industry highly regarded but not essential!
    Extensive experience within a customer service environment
    Resilient personality and ability to be adaptable within ever changing environments
    Clear and concise communication skills demonstrated both verbally and written
    Ability to be Pro-active with your workload and time management
    Strong understanding of Microsoft Office suite (word, excel etc)

Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:

    Communicate clearly and effectively with customers by understanding their needs and being able to gather the necessary information required for the business
    Provide a high level of customer service using a variety of platforms (emails, telephone etc)
    Providing essential updates to customers concerning change in delivery times or schedules
    Developing of strong relationships both internally and externally
    Managing of high work volumes, to ensure Sands is always at the forefront of customer communication
    Ensure departmental communications and awareness surrounding issues and workflows
    Resolve customer issues, to create and ensure customer retention within the business
    Data entry as where required
    Ensuring correct paperwork is given to Data entry team
    Assistance with customer enquiries in our country and regional depots
    AD-Hoc duties as where required
