The role:
We are looking for a person to focus on the purchasing processes. We count on your excellent project management skills to map the existing processes and gaps, (re-)design the processes and ensure they are implemented. In this position, you will report to the divisional purchasing manager and is part of the Power Technique Service (PTS) division of Atlas Copco.
The job contains the following tasks:
- Act as project leader and key user for digitalization projects within the PTS purchasing team
- Represent the division in the purchase-to-pay process meetings in ERP related projects
- Drive structural improvements on the or ERP templates in cooperation and through communication with the local purchasers
- Support MDG project (=Master Data Governance) from purchasing point of view and safeguard the purchasing processes will be covered in MDG
- Drive further developments in the purchasing systems used (supplier portal, purchase price approval system) for the global purchasing organization
- Support to implement our global supply chain roadmap
- Actively Support the Product Lifecycle Management activities, among which the Parts Set-Up Process, the production phase-out process, and the spare part end-of-life process.
- Drive improvement actions on the cooperation with the global production facilities, visit our production facilities, discuss with stakeholders, and catalyze change management
- Bring structural improvements for the KPI platform and the existing dashboards to improve the operational efficiency of the purchasing team
- Develop and further enhance KPI’s to improve the purchase performance within the global purchasing team, for all distribution centers in Belgium, US, China, India

Educational/Experience requirements:
- Academic background in engineering, economics or similar through experience
- Keen interest in systems and processes
- Project management skills
- Change management focus
- Software skills (MS office) are required, ERP knowledge (SAP) is an asset
- Experience in purchase-to-pay process is a nice plus
- Fluency in English, both written and spoken, for collaboration in multinational teams

Location:
The position will preferably be located in Belgium, in Atlas Copco Airpower (Wilrijk) or Power Tools Distribution (Hoeselt). Alternative locations in Spain (Zaragoza) or Italy (Padova) can be discussed. You will be working in the Power Technique Service Division, which is responsible to provide all aftermarket parts and services to machines of the Power Technique Business Area in Atlas Copco.
