Working with science-based targets, we have created a new department in the global Road division with the aim of achieving our ambitions of reducing our own CO2e footprint by 50% by 2030 – and for our business partners with 30%, and with the company growing our goal is highly ambitious.

Develop green transport solutions for our customers
Your role will be based in the new Road sustainability organisation. Here, you will be responsible for developing solutions for DSV customers and ensuring your colleagues across the Road Division have the latest information on green transport solutions.
As our technical lead on decarbonization pathways, you will be the go-to person for customers and colleagues across the Road division of DSV as you put your knowledge within the field to use.
Typically, you will identify potential pathways for reducing emissions and achieving DSV’s 2030 CO2e reduction targets and the long-term ambition of being net zero by 2050. Thus, your role will be to deploy and scale green solutions which have passed our ‘proof-of-concept’ phase and are thus ready for deployment.
Moreover, you will:
Analyze and evaluate the feasibility of various decarbonisation pathways, including assessing the potential costs and benefits, identifying potential barriers to implementation, and gathering input from specialists to recommend appropriate technologies, processes and policies
Participate in and lead customer meetings to identify green transport solutions
Collect, compile and analyse data for technical assessments and case studies and ensure it is communicated to relevant internal stakeholders
Manage workshops, events, capacity building activities and campaigns
Participate in external networks and projects
Do you have what it takes?
You have a passion for technical solutions and understands how to deploy them in a fast moving and dynamic environment.
At least 3 years of experience in a related role, with a demonstrated track record of developing and implementing decarbonisation initiatives and projects in Road.
You are able to dig into complex data and issues to create and maintain an overview of green road transport solutions.
You know how to talk to customers, understand their needs and concerns and build great relationships with customers and colleagues alike.
Have a proven track record of delivering projects and initiatives in the transport field where you have successfully delivered solutions to customers.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex data and develop actionable recommendations.
Curiosity and knowledge-seeking mentality, with an open mind to multiple ways of solving a given problem
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences
An operational background from Road freight would be an added bonus.
You must expect between 25-35 travel days a year where you visit locations where green solutions are to be deployed or have been deployed.
